Nick Covella is a veteran official having started his career in California in 1980. He was a member of the San Fernando Valley Unit until 1993 when he transferred to the Channel Coast Unit. In the Channel Coast Unit he has served on the leadership team (President, Sec/Treas, Board Member) as well as a member of the instructional staff. At the CBOA level, he has served as the Southern California Board Member and has been the CBOA webmaster since 2011 Outside of basketball, Nick Covella is the Background Investigator but has held various senior and executive leadership roles in engineering and technology spanning industry verticals include Space and Defense, Entertainment, Audio and Internet Advertising. He has also served in various volunteering capacities including AYSO and YMCA Indian/Adventure Guides programs, Nick Covella attended California State University, Northridge where he earned his undergraduate degree in computer science and later earned his MBA from Pepperdine University. He resides in Colorado Springs, CO with his lovely wife and clan of Australian Shepherds. |
